Endovascular Treatment of Spinal Dural and Epidural Arteriovenous Fistula as Complication of Lumbar Surgery

damage and fistula formation are known to occur (13). Formation of spinal arteriovenous fistulas (AVF) also has been reported as a delayed complication developing after lumbar surgery (3). We experienced spinal dural/epidural AVFs that developed at the site of previous lumbar surgery and successfully treated it with n-butyl cyanoacrylate (Histoacryl, B.Braun, Melsungen, Germany). To our knowledge, endovascular treatment of postsurgically developed spinal dural/epidural AVFs has not been reported so far.
